However, there is a different kind of love we, the airlifters family, has begun to spread out even before this day of hearts, the day after the quake – by helping others. Last Friday, a powerful earthquake hit Surigao City that resulted to damaged infrastructures. According to the news, 8 were reported killed, 209 injured, and 138 recorded aftershocks that are endangering weakened structures in the area. These aftershocks, according to PhilVolcs, will continue and may last for days and even weeks. This only means that residents will have to stay in safer grounds until it becomes completely safe to go back to their places. With this, more relief supplies are required to sustain their needs.
