Access for All: How Exchange Participants With Disabilities Live #WithoutLimits: In honor of the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act’s anniversary as well as the 50th Special Olympics, the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) would like to take a moment to shine a spotlight on our exchange participants who continually show us how individuals with disabilities can live #WithoutLimits.

One exchange alumna with a disability is Sri Lestari, an ECA Sports Diplomacy grantee from Indonesia. She explains that her exchange helped her learn how to teach children to play sports regardless of having a disability. She said in a video, “the most memorable part of my exchange is when I can learn how to do adaptive sport with National Abilities Center in Utah, because I can teach the children with disability who still stay at home to play adaptive sport.”
